How to Enter

Programs and projects may be entered in one category only (except for those submitted to the Effective, Efficient, and Elegant Publications category, which may be entered in other areas), although an element of a total program may be submitted as a separate project, if appropriate. There is no limit to the number of entries submitted by a college in each category.

The competition is open to programs or projects implemented within the past three academic years (September 2007 to March 2010) and to individual projects implemented during the period from March 2009 to March 2010.

Entrants must be advancement professionals at a state-operated SUNY campus, a SUNY community college, the SUNY Research Foundation, a SUNY-related foundation, a SUNY statutory college (entries must be material done for statutory colleges only), or SUNY System Administration.

Video, audio, and multimedia entries must be submitted on VHS, CD, or DVD. Include a specification sheet indicating any specific computer software needed.

Campuses may submit projects done in cooperation with an ad agency.

Each category is judged in a different location, as indicated in each category description. Be sure to include the entry form along with any additional materials specified with each entry. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. In addition to disqualifying incomplete entries, judges have the right to eliminate entries not submitted in the appropriate category.

All entries and payments must be received by March 10, 2010, at the location indicated in the category listing. No exceptions will be made. Entries for which no payment or purchase order is received will be disqualified.

All entries become the property of SUNYCUAD.
